Ampd Energy and our prestigious partner Select Plant Hire implemented the first Ampd Enertainer™ in Europe at Laing O’Rourke’s Olympia Redevelopment in West London. The cutting-edge battery energy storage system replaced three diesel generators reducing noise and carbon impact whilst improving air quality. The Enertainer energy storage system (ESS) enhanced the construction process in addition to aligning with Select’s commitment to minimize their environmental impact.

Construction sites use diesel generators to power heavy machinery and equipment, but generators produce a lot of noise and black smoke, which not only pollutes the environment but also endangers the health of workers. Ming Gor, an electrician who has worked on the construction site for many years, deeply feels the benefits of Ampd Energy's Enertainer, a state of the art lithium-ion energy storage system that provides zero-emission electricity for power-hungry construction sites.

The Hong Kong Electric Company has launched a one-stop power supply service for "Smart Power Construction Sites". Through early planning to supply power to the grid instead of diesel generators, the service can provide sufficient power for construction sites and help the construction industry move towards zero emissions on construction sites. In addition to eradicating the air and noise pollution caused by diesel generators, the whole grid power supply can also help reduce the overall carbon footprint during the construction period and save energy costs.

The Multi-welfare Services Complex developed by the Architectural Services Department and SOCAM Development is a major project in the Kwu Tung North Development Area. When completed, the complex will serve as residential care homes for the elderly. This site currently has the most Enertainers on a single site in the world, with 4 Enertainers powering 4 tower cranes with cleaner energy.
